Growing up with a last name like Barefoot, I couldn't help but express myself creatively from a very early age. That's why I thrive in the fast-paced, ever-changing and constantly challenging world we call advertising.

 

An act of divine intervention landed me with my first "real" copywriting gig, and I'm proud to say I've never looked back. I am still just as passionate about rolling up my sleeves and getting to brainstorm, write and come up with big ideas that produce results-driven work. But I'm equally as thrilled with building, mentoring and inspiring teams.

 

Away from the office and the big city, you can usually find me spending weekends kickin' it in the sticks with my husband, dogs and a herd of longhorn cattle (plus a donkey). A recently renovated garden shed is now my official She Shed, and it's where I look forward to getting creative and crafty.
